Tailored Golf Travel was started by PGA Professional Richard Bean and his wife Nisha in 2019. Soon joined by keen amateur golfer Paul Siviter as Commercial Director.
We have set ourselves up differently to most other golf tour operators in that we work exclusively with UK golf clubs and their members to provide the best possible value for money on their golf trips whether in the UK, Europe or beyond.
We have 4 main areas in which we develop our relationship with UK golf clubs.
- We have a broad range of golf trips available and offer a unique ‘commission share’ to the organisors of golf groups of 8 or more people, whether that be a golf club manager, Pro or member.
- A number of our overseas partners have teamed up with us to offer a ‘Race To…’ prize. Normally we work closely with the Competition Secretary to create some kind of order of merit the winner of which receives a free* trip providing that a members trip is booked for the prescribed number of golfers. * up to a limit of £500 value in order to retain amateur status under R&A rules.
- We help Club Pro’s to maximise their income during the lean winter months when few people really wanted to stand on a range in the UK by linking up with a number of our partner resorts to offer Pro Group coaching trips.
- Some forward thinking private members clubs in the UK offer green fee rates to us so that we can link golf at private members clubs to our featured UK golf resorts.
Of course our primary aim is to offer clients the best possible deals and we are confident that we will not be beaten on price by any other bona fide UK based golf break tour operator.
