Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Marbella | 3 Nights and 2 rounds of Golf Package

From £353

Nestled between three golf courses, this Tuscan palazzo-style resort assumes a picturesque position in Andalusia’s ‘Golden Triangle’ between Marbella, Benahavís and Estepona in the south of Spain.

Retreat to an elegant sanctuary, surrounded by more than 1,200 original works of Italian and Andalusian art. Enjoy views over manicured Tuscan lawns and lush rolling greens from your spacious room, suite or villa. Make the most of cutting-edge leisure and wellness facilities right at your door with the 22,000 sqm Racquet Club or the lavish Villa Padierna Palace Spa by Anantara.

Enjoy the refined cosiness of a room overlooking the golf course and resort gardens. Relax amid classic works of art and soothing neutral décor. Sip wine from your minibar on your private terrace and enjoy a luxurious rain shower at the end of the day.

Alferini Golf Club is a true challenge for any golfer. Situated next to the other courses at Villa Padierna Marbella, Alferini golf course has a long layout of 6.600 metres and is one of the few par 73s on the Coast with some of the fairways requiring pinpoint accuracy and large, generous greens. With four large lakes, water comes into play on several holes, and there is a minimum of five levels on each tee enabling Alferini golf course to be adapted to different playing levels and degrees of difficulty. Out on the course there is a feeling of peace and quiet, a welcome lack of noise, because Alferini Golf Club is truly in the midst of nature, a lush valley within the mountains of Benahavís .

This 18-hole, 71-par course measuring 5,714 metres was designed by the prestigious architect Antonio García Garrido, known for his meticulous landscaping. It has a great variety of trees and stunning views of the Mediterranean. The greens are generous in size, but the fairways are slender on the first half of the course, where more precision is needed than on the second half. The bunkers contain white marble chips and the fairways are sown with Bermuda grass except for certain holes that use rye grass, while the greens and tees have Penncross.

Flamingos Golf has hosted prestigious golf tournaments such as the 2002, 2003 and 2004 European Seniors and the Women’s Spanish Open in 2010.
